Many of her clients are dealing with complicated and distressing issues, where others simply need a few sessions to talk things through.
All those seeking help have one thing in common; the need for space to talk without being judged.
What is Emotional Therapy?
Emotional Therapy is a holistic talking therapy which gives you a safe and confidential space in which to explore the many and sometimes confusing emotions you may be experiencing. Emotional Therapy helps you to get out of your head and into your heart .
As we get older our feelings are often forced down by our rational mind until they insist on coming out when we least want them to. This is a stage at which Emotional Therapy can be most useful. During sessions you will be encouraged to express and understand these feelings in a safe manner, most importantly by talking. You can also use a variety of creative techniques ranging from dream working and guided visualisations to writing or drawing. Some people also choose to continue this work at home.
During your sessions, you may find that you are looking at patterns of feelings and behaviour. Emotional Therapy will help to shine light on these from a new perspective, acknowledging and understanding your fears and emotions and dealing with them positively. By building on your self-esteem and improving your self-confidence you will discover who the real you is and feel better equipped to deal with the ups and downs of modern life.
