Akousis counselling and psychotherapy centre offers a safe and supportive setting for you to see your clients.
Our building, at 1 Fairlawn Road, Montpelier, Bristol, is a dedicated counselling centre owned and managed by a group of counsellors.Currently, the building is intensively used, but we do have some free hours at various times of the week.
We have six counselling rooms available to rent at £7 per hour (£5 at weekends), and a group room at £12 per hour. Payments are monthly in arrears. Only one week's notice is required to cancel.
We have a waiting room, toilets and a large kitchen/rest room, all of which are available to you on days when you have booked a counselling room.
The advantages of working at Akousis are:-
You can see your clients in a building wholly dedicated to counselling and psychotherapy, where all the occupants understand and respect your way of working.
You can participate in Akousis training and social events and by arrangement, in peer supervision.
You can avoid the isolation of working from home.
Akousis is easily accessible by bus, a short walk from Montpelier train station and parking is available in surrounding streets.
You are responsible for how you work with your clients as long as you adhere to a recognized code of ethics.
You negotiate fees and other contractual matters directly with your clients.
